Above: Walter Gurode of Texas is pumped about his win and advance over a Russian competitor to move into the Finals of the 2001 WAF World Championships in Gavardo, Italy. Gurode ended the day with a respectable 2nd place finish.

A tribute to a legend and a man with a lot of spirit. Mr. James Greyson armwrestles for charity at a recent Texas State Employees Charity Campaign event. At 80 plus years old, he proves he's still got it. What a mentor he is for us all.

Jeff Tomchesson-Texas shows that doing your homework counts as he takes Michael Todd-Arkansas to the pad in a well deserved win at the Texas State Championships, August 25, 2001. These two guys are great competitors and really put on a show. I must note that Michael defeated Jeff in the left hand division.

Left: The awesome forearm of Mr. Bill Ballenger on display after a hard days work at the 2001 Arnold Classic in Ohio. Right: There appears to be a strategy session underway as Bill grips up with Louisiana's Craig Tulley. Getting the invitation to the Arnold is an accomplishment in itself and our heartiest congratulations go out to Bill and all other qualifiers.
